Part 2 of the History of Holm: Live by the sword, die by the sword, and this is how the Age of Wonders, the gilded age of the New Gods, ends. Out of black infinity above, a comet, a frozen alchemical ocean with an ancient alien god entombed in its heart, ends the Age of Wonders in an apocalypse, the likes of which has never been seen. The Day of the Sword is the day the roots of the Godspar Mountain are planted, deep into the flesh of the world. A burning blade rises up from the Earth’s crust, punching up into the night. Somehow, humanity persists, only to face yet greater trials.
The world flashed, flickered, and faded before the coming of the Gargant and the planting of the seed of the Godspar Mountain. This is what that world was like, and what our world will become.
A single drop is all it takes. Stasis will transport you to distant times, to awaken rejuvenated. Provided the Flesh Vintners don’t find you first…
